Constructivist Manifesto

Self-initiated spec project exploring five distinct visual worlds for a single product: the NOMOS Club Sport Neomatik 42 Datum. Each world was developed with its own color system, texture logic, lighting setup, and conceptual frame — demonstrating how a consistent object can communicate entirely different brand narratives depending on its visual context.

— The Product

— The Product

NOMOS Glashütte is a German independent watchmaker whose design language traces directly to Bauhaus principles — reduction, function, honesty of materials. The Club Sport Neomatik 42 Datum features an in-house DUW 6101 movement with 27 jewels, visible through a sapphire caseback, a deep blue dial, and a stainless steel bracelet. It is one of the most design-coherent sports watches in its category.

— Why Spec Work

— Why Spec Work

Spec projects are how I develop and demonstrate creative range outside of client briefs. This project specifically addresses a gap I see in 3D product work: most watch visualization defaults to dark, atmospheric renders that prioritize luxury signaling over brand truth. The NOMOS project was an opportunity to argue for a different approach — one where the visual environment earns its place by being conceptually coherent with the brand's values, not just aesthetically impressive.

That's the kind of thinking I bring to client projects.
